Many patients wonder what they should bring (or leave home) when starting treatment. While the following list is not exhaustive, and additional items may either be requested or prohibited by Lighthouse staff at their professional discretion, please refer to these guidelines when preparing for your stay.
Things to Bring:
- 3 days worth of casual clothes
- Pajamas
- Pullover or Sweatshirt (no strings and no hoods)
- Comfortable Shoes (no strings)
- Undergarments (no underwire or strings)
Things NOT to Bring:
- Personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, perfume and make-up (all hygiene items will be provided at time of admission)
- Shirts or pants with holes or inappropriate slogans
- Food
- Glass bottles
- Wire hangers
- Televisions or radios
- Pillows
- Blankets
- Money
- Valuables
- Cell phone
- Laptop
- Belt
- Shoelaces
- Firearms or any other weapons
- Medications– unless family member was contacted to bring it
- Cameras
- No liquids of any kind n
- No tobacco of any kind or vapes
