Dr. Rupa Shetty – Medical Director – Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital
Dr. Shetty originates from Mumbai, India. As a medical student, she quickly excelled through her program, becoming a licensed, practicing physician at the age of 23. After moving to the United States, Dr. Shetty continued her studies at a substance abuse counseling center in Texas. Once her time in Texas was finished, she attended the Medical College of Georgia where she completed her residency in Psychiatry. At the conclusion of her residency, Dr. Shetty continued her training at the Medical College of Georgia and completed her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. During this time, her skills and expertise earned her the title of Chief Resident. She also serves as the Chief of Psychiatry at the Waccamaw Center for Mental Health.

Dr. Adedapo Oduwole – Medical Director – Intensive Outpatient Program, The Beacon
Dr. Oduwole received his medical education at the University of Ilorin in Ilorin, Nigeria. Upon coming to the United States he completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. He subsequently also completed a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Bronx facility. Among his current credentials, Dr. Oduwole is a Diplomat of the American Boards of Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine.

Robert McLain Adams, IV, MD
Dr. Robert Adams is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Provider. Dr. Adams received his medical training at the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, SC and the University of Virginia Health System, Charlotteville, VA and has been serving patients in the Wilmington, NC area since 1999. Dr. Adams regularly provides Tele-Psychiatry services at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in Conway, SC to our child/adolescent patients.
